I chose to design a new and improved personal heater
Problem
Personal heaters on the market are aesthetically unappealing and they are a hazard for household pets and other objects nearby.
Opportunity
A cute, trendy heater that can be displayed as decor and that includes extra safety features.
Target Market
This product targets students or people living in small spaces, apartments or dorms that may have pets. This product is for people that care about interior design and the appearance of their space.

key insights
- I can eliminate need for a rotation motor if I make the head disperse in 360 degrees
- all of the components can be condensed into a much smaller area
- the heat coil lights up in a visually appealing way
